These terms and conditions apply to all purchases of goods via the e-commerce shop at www.silkeborgstigefabrik. We recommend reading these terms and conditions thoroughly before you shop on the website. In order to make purchases on the website, it is required that you accept the terms and conditions.

We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions without prior notice, but the version of the terms and conditions that apply to a specific order will always be the version that appears on the website at the time the order is issued.
2.1 You must be 18 or older to shop on our website.
2.2 All agreements for purchases through the website are made in Danish.
2.3 Once you have placed your order, you will automatically receive an order confirmation for your order via e-mail. If you subsequently wish to receive a new copy of your order confirmation, you can send an email to mail@silkeborgstigefabrik.dk.
Creating a user account is not a requirement for shopping on the website. However, we recommend that you create an account because doing so enables you to see your previous orders and see the status of your current orders under your user account on the website. This also makes it easier for you when you want to shop on the website again. If you do not create a user account, you will not be able to see your previous orders on the website.
3.1 All of the prices on the website are current prices and they are in Danish Kroner, including taxes, VAT and duties. There is no fee for payments made on the website.
3.2 You can pay with Dankort / VISA-Dankort, MasterCard, Maestro, VISA and VISA Electron on our website. All payments are processed via an encrypted SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connection in order to protect your payment information. During the payment process, you will be asked to enter the three-digit security code of your debit or credit card. Entering this security code is necessary for the payment to be processed and for us to be able to maintain a high level of security. You will find the three-digit security code on the back of your debit/credit card.
3.3 When you pay by credit card on the website, you are protected against misuse. When you receive your statement, you have the opportunity to refuse any charges that you did not approve. Similarly, you are not liable for any deductible in the event that your card is misused on a website that uses an encrypted SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connection.
3.4 Your payment will not be charged to your debit/credit card until we ship your item(s) to you. If you order several items that cannot be shipped in the same shipment, we will charge the entire amount once the last of the ordered items has shipped, or charge the amount for each partial shipment separately as the individual partial shipments are shipped. You will never be charged an amount greater than what you approved during the purchase.
4.1 Items ordered on the website are only delivered to addresses within Denmark. We do not deliver to the Faroe Islands or Greenland.
4.2 Delivery is made via approved carriers in Denmark to the address you have provided as the delivery address during the purchase. We provide free shipping if you purchase more than 3,000 DKK excluding potential freight costs on a single order. If your order is less than 3,000 DKK excluding freight, you will be charged a total of 187.50 DKK for freight regardless of the number of items included in the order.
4.3 If you are a consumer, the risk of an ordered item being accidentally destroyed is transferred to you when the item is handed over to you, or to a representative authorised to receive the item on your behalf. If you did not order the product as a consumer, this risk is transferred to you when the item leaves our warehouse and is handed over to the approved carriers in Denmark.
4.4 We always strive to deliver the items ordered as soon as possible. Our normal delivery time is approximately 1-2 days for stock items, 14 days for ordered items, but this may vary. The expected delivery time for a specific item is in every case specified next to the item on the website. If you purchased several items on the same order, in most cases we will ship all of them at the same time in order to reduce delivery costs. If one or more of the ordered items are not in stock, the result may be a longer delivery time, also with regard to the items we have in stock. You are always welcome to contact us to find out the status of your order as well as the expected delivery date.
4.5 When you receive your goods, you should check to make sure that everything is as it should be. If the packaging and/or contents are damaged, please contact us immediately. Please also contact us if you would like to lodge a complaint about any other faults and/or defects in the items delivered. Our contact information is listed at the top of these terms and conditions.
5.1 When you shop on our website, you have, in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act, 24 months to lodge a claim with respect to any faults and/or defects that may be present in the delivered items. This means that you can either have the item repaired or exchanged, or get your money back or a reduction in price, depending on the situation.
5.2 The above assumes that the claim is justified. The right to lodge a claim does not include faults and/or defects that arise as a result of improper use or storage of the item or any other damaging behaviour.
5.3 If you purchased the item as a consumer you must lodge a claim within a reasonable time after you discovered the defect and/or fault in the item. If you lodge your claim within two months of the defect being discovered, then the claim will be considered timely.
5.4 If you did not purchase the item as a consumer, you should lodge a claim immediately after you have, or should have, discovered the defect and/or fault in the item. When lodging the claim, you must include a written description of the defect and/or fault that you are claiming.
5.5 When returning an item, it must be packed well so that additional damage does not occur. In the event of a justified claim, we will refund reasonable freight costs that you may incur in connection with shipping the returned item. 6.1 Exercising your right of cancellation
If you purchased the item on our website as a consumer, you have the right to cancel a placed order, without reason, within 14 days.
The cancellation period with respect to all items on a single order expires 14 days after the date on which you or a third party specified by you, though this excludes approved carriers in Denmark, is in physical possession of the last item on the relevant order.
To exercise the right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision to cancel the purchase in an unequivocal statement (e.g. by sending a letter via post or email). Our contact information is:

You may also use the standard cancellation form, but this is not mandatory.
The cancellation deadline is met if you send your communication about exercising your right of cancellation before the cancellation deadline has expired.
6.2 Effects of cancellation
If you exercise your right of cancellation with respect to an order, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (but excluding additional costs due to your own choice of shipping other than the least expensive type of standard shipping that we offer), without undue delay and in any event within 14 days from the date, on which we were notified of your decision to cancel the purchase. We will process such reimbursement using the same means of payment that you used for the original purchase unless you have explicitly requested otherwise. In any case, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned item, or you have submitted documentation showing that you have returned the item, whichever occurs earliest.
You must return the product or deliver it to us without undue delay and within 14 days from the date you informed us about exercising your right of cancellation. The deadline is considered met if you return the item before 14 days have elapsed.
You must bear the direct cost of returning the item. The cost is estimated to be a maximum of approximately 1000 DKK.
You shall only be liable for any diminished value of the goods that results from any handling other than what is necessary to determine the item's nature, characteristics and the way it works.

Items can only be returned in undamaged and unused condition, and the items must be accompanied by a delivery note that refers to the return agreement. Returned items are only credited against deduction of our costs.
For standard stock items, a crediting fee is calculated as 20 percent of the invoice price, but minimum 500 DKK, excluding VAT.
8.1 Silkeborg Stigefabrik A/S is responsible for all personal information collected on the website. If you have a complaint about the handling of your personal information, you are welcome to contact us, for example, by email: mail@silkeborgstigefabrik.dk. 8.2 We do not collect any personal information about you other than that which you yourself inform us of. Under no circumstances do we collect sensitive information about you. We collect only what is called ordinary personal information, such as your name, your address, your email address, telephone number and the like.
8.3 We collect and use personal information in connection with processing your order on our website, including sending your order confirmation and ordered items, processing payments, processing complaints, and in the event that you exercise your right of cancellation. The debit/credit card information you enter in connection with the purchase is only used to process your payment and we do not store this information afterwards.
8.4 If you create a user account on the website, we will use the personal information that you enter in this connection and subsequently for the administration of your user account.
8.5 If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will use the email address that you enter in this connection to send you the newsletter.
8.6 Your information will not be disclosed to third parties.
8.7 The security of your personal information is important to us and we strive for the best possible protection of both the quality and integrity of this information.
8.8 You have the right to inspect the information we have stored about you at any time. You are also entitled to object to the collection and the further processing of your personal information, as well as to the correction of the information that we store about you if this information is incorrect.
